Pulling mail is actually sending a Push request to the other side and wait for the mail to arrive. It only works within Domino. If your server is always online on a fixed IP-address, your ISP should always be able to deliver the mail to you. Otherwise, you need to ask them to enable batch SMTP and implement some sort of Push-request method.
